Paul Derda Recreation Center Pools – 13201 Lowell Blvd, Broomfield, CO – *NOTE* This is an INDOOR POOL, but I thought I would include it for those who might not want to bother with all the sunscreen! 🙂 60 minute “Family Swim Sessions” are available and are limited to 5 families (20 people) per 60 minute time slot. - There will be a max of 5 families (20 people) allowed in each session, by appointment only. Click here to make a reservation.
- All children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent in the pool.
- All participants attending family swim must be in the pool swimming together. Children must be supervised at all times to maintain physical distancing guidelines with other families.
- All family members attending must book an appointment. If you have questions or problems registering your family, please contact aquatics@broomfield.org
- Max of 2 sessions per week due to the limited availability of bather loads and time slots. Families are encouraged to utilize the waitlist.
- Family swim will include zero depth area, octopus slide, lazy river, and body and tube slides. The lap lane is available during family swim times, but requires a separate appointment to book the lane for use.
- Hot tubs remain closed.
- Each family will be given a table to set their personal items on, a single tube and a double tube to use, and a family cabana to use if needed.

Thornton City Pool – 2141 E. 95th Ave., Thornton, CO – No reservation is required, but space is VERY limited and long wait times have been reported. Click Here for hours of operation, fees and guidelines.
Spruce Pool – 2102 Spruce St., Boulder, CO – The leisure pool has been split up into 3 “pods”, equaling 1/3 of the leisure area. Up to 6 household members are allowed per pod, with at least one adult. 60 minute reservations, and access to pool deck begins 15 minutes before reservation start time. Splashland Pool – 3365 W 67th Ave, Denver, CO 80221 – Currently offers 4 open swim sessions per day, Tue-Sun. Two sessions are available by reservation only (click here) & two sessions (Noon & 3:45pm) are available on a walk-in basis (first come,first serve) only.
