Having been involved with various community theaters in the Denver Metro area since 2014, I hold a special place in my heart for the arts. Parker Arts, a part of the PACE Center in Parker, CO states its mission to be: “Parker Arts will enhance local economic vitality and quality of life by offering unique gathering spaces and providing access to a wide variety of high-quality performances, exhibits, and educational programs in arts, culture, history, and science.” With recent events temporarily closing many theaters and cultural centers down, both small and large alike, I am awe struck at the inventive ways these organizations are finding ways to bring live theater and music to their patrons, and Parker Arts is no exception. While the 542 seat theater sits vacant, Parker Arts has decided to make it’s parking lot a destination for live drive-in style performances on Friday nights through June & July (see schedule below). Tune in from the parking lot with the FM radio in your car for a wide range of live music and even a trivia night!
